Goddamnit, does the man ever stop thinking?

But in the rush to cut, let’s not get our national priorities screwed up. We can all agree that the first priority of the federal government, above all others, is to preserve, protect and defend our nation from those who would seek to destroy it. The war in which we’re presently engaged is as much a war of ideologies as it is a war of bullets and bombs. Let us not lose sight of that in our zeal to abolish federal waste.

Yup, I'm in love. This man can write damned well, and has terrific points.

Hell, I might even be able to get my Liberal uncle to agree with him. Now that would be an amazing reaction.
