I am thisclose to banning blogspot domains from posting trackbacks or comments to my blog.
FUCKING SPLOGS!!!! GET THE FUCK OFF MY SITE!
On a similar note, how do I close old entries? I need a plugin, don't I?

Grr. . . I hate comment spam. I use Nucleus (no trackbacks), and I need to do some heavy server-side work to make the captcha plugin function. Until then, I'm stuck using a very long comment blacklist. Not a good idea to comment using card-game-references on my site.
As for your particular issue, there is a setting in MT to close comments for each post in each post's "edit entry" page. In newer versions of MT, you can even have comments close automatically after a certain amount of time. . . I don't know with which version that takes effect, though.

Yeah, I should probably take the time to go back and close comments/trackbacks on old posts. There are so many though.
I'm also hesitant to upgrade to the newer versions (I'm at least one, if not two updates behind) just because I don't want to screw everything up and then have to go to either class or work.
Thanks for the ideas though...One of these days I'll really sit down and see what I can put together.
