My French teacher confuses me.
She won't tell us the word for "boobs" in French, because she says we don't need to know it, but then turns around and says "oh, don't be so innocent, all languages have curses"
Oy.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Back off, bitches.
I'm here. Spring break was one of those "fall on bed and sleep the whole thing away" things.
School has started again. I'm going back and forth as to whether or not I want to take classes this summer, just because the idea of getting out of school makes me happy, but so does keeping my summer free.
Ideas?

How do we ensure our kids are ok?
There's an interesting article I'm reading in class, in addition to an essay from the textbook. I'll share both and expound my thoughts on raising kids later.
Here are the current notes and questions:
Children need to be children while learning how to interact with organized systems and adults. How does this work? How is it possible to raise a child who is not overscheduled but still is able to grow up well, without seeing a divide between adult and child?

Sawx take the series.
Now all they have to do is play smart. They got away with playing stupid today, but that won't cut it against a team like the Yanks or the CWS.

South Park kicks ass
They finally address the Mohammed cartoon "controversy" and it is wonderful. Cartman is an ass, and so far they are doing well showing how ridiculous this bowing to terrorists and fantics is.
UPDATE: Never mind. It's all about their hatred of Family Guy.
Which I love, by the way.

"la France a défendu Saddam Hussein pour protéger une vieille amitié et de soi-disant intérêts économiques et pétroliers."
Par Le Monde Watch
(English translation, courtesy No Pasaran:
Richard 75: It seems that Iraqis (even when they are anti-American) have a virulent anti-French feeling because they think that France tried to save Saddam. Can you confirm or deny this?)Remy Ourdan: This feeling is very strong in Iraq. Almost all the Shia, almost all the Kurds and many Sunnis think that France defended Saddam Hussein to protect an old friendship and so-called economic and petrol interests. Also, many Iraqis are angry with France because of its attitude after the war.
Any questions?

What is suffering?
I'm working on my second psych paper. One of the problems I'm having is defining suffering in terms of psychology. Any thoughts?
